What our warranty covers

The BRAVORA lifetime warranty covers any defect originating in the manufacturing of the ring:

  • Setting and prongs Gemstones that come loose or move due to a failure in the original setting: improperly adjusted prongs, deficient setting, or incorrect closure.
  • Ring structure Deformations, breaks, or weaknesses in the band that are not due to normal use, impacts, or external pressure.
  • Soldering and joints Separation of ring parts at soldering or joining points that fail due to a manufacturing process defect.
  • Finishes Visible defects in the polish, texture, or finish that were present at delivery and are not due to natural wear.
  • Metal Purity or alloy issues in the gold or platinum that do not match what was specified in your order and certificate.

What is not covered

A handcrafted ring is designed to last a lifetime, but it does need a minimum of care. These situations are not covered by the warranty:

  • Natural wear from daily use. Micro-scratches on the metal, loss of shine, or wear of the rhodium plating on white gold are completely normal processes.
  • Damage from impacts, pressure, or shock. Deformations from drops, hard impacts, or activities that put pressure on the ring (sports, manual work, etc.).
  • Exposure to chemicals. Cleaning products, pool chlorine, perfumes applied directly, creams, or acetone can damage the metal and gemstones.
  • Modifications or repairs performed by third parties. If another jeweler works on your ring (resizing, soldering, setting, polishing), the BRAVORA warranty is voided, as we cannot be responsible for the work of other professionals.
  • Loss or theft of the ring. We recommend taking out an independent jewelry insurance policy. If you need an appraisal for this, contact us.

How it works

If you think your ring has a manufacturing defect:

  1. Write to us Send an email to hola@bravorajewelry.com or a WhatsApp to +34 694 272 328 with photos of the issue and a brief description.
  2. We evaluate your case Within a maximum of 48 business hours we'll confirm whether the issue is covered and explain the next steps.
  3. Send us your ring We provide the instructions and cover insured round-trip shipping.
  4. We repair or replace Our workshop evaluates the piece and carries out the repair. If the defect cannot be repaired, we make a new ring at no cost. Typical turnaround: 3 to 4 weeks.
  5. We send it back to you You receive your repaired ring at home, with free and insured shipping.

Caring for your ring is easy

Your ring is made with high-quality materials and designed for daily wear. With a few simple habits, it will stay perfect for years.

What you can do at home

Basic cleaning every few weeks. Soak the ring for about 20 minutes in warm water with a few drops of mild dish soap. Scrub with a soft-bristle toothbrush, rinse with clean water, and dry with a soft, lint-free cloth. This removes the grease and dirt that accumulates from daily use and restores the shine.

Remove it in these situations:

  • Before exercising, cleaning the house, or any hands-on activity.
  • Before applying creams, perfumes, or cosmetic products. Apply them first, let them absorb, and then put the ring on.
  • In pools, spas, at the beach, or any contact with chlorine, salt, or chemicals.
  • When sleeping, if you tend to move your hands a lot (avoid knocking against the nightstand or wall).

Always store it in its case when you're not wearing it. Avoid leaving it loose in a drawer with other jewelry: contact between metals and gemstones can cause scratches.

Professional maintenance we recommend

There are services that, depending on use, you'll need from time to time. We recommend visiting a trusted jeweler in your city for:

  • Professional ultrasonic cleaning Once a year is enough for most people. The jeweler will remove residue that home cleaning can't reach and leave the gemstones sparkling. Typical cost: 15–30 €.
  • White gold re-rhodium plating The rhodium plating that gives white gold its cool, bright tone wears off with use. This is completely normal and not a defect. Depending on your lifestyle, it may need refreshing every 1–3 years. Typical cost: 30–50 €.
  • Prong and setting inspection Ask the jeweler to check that the prongs are secure and the gemstones are held firmly. Ideally do this once a year, at the same time as the cleaning.
  • Scratch polishing Micro-scratches are inevitable with daily use, especially in 18k gold (slightly softer than 14k or platinum). Professional polishing removes them. Don't overuse this service: each polish removes a microscopic layer of metal.

You don't need to come to Barcelona or send us your ring to ask a question. If at any point you notice something unusual — a prong that seems to move, a color change, a scratch that worries you — send us photos or a short video and we'll give you our professional assessment:

  • If it's a manufacturing defect → we activate the warranty and cover everything.
  • If it's normal wear → we explain what it is, whether it needs attention, and what to ask the jeweler in your city.

This service has no cost and no expiration. It's part of how we work.

Terms

Who can use the warranty? The warranty is valid for the original buyer of the ring. It is non-transferable.

Do I need to keep any documents? Keep your order number or confirmation email. That's all you need to manage any claim.

Does this replace the legal warranty? No. In addition to our lifetime commercial warranty, you have the rights granted to you by Spanish law on legal conformity warranty (currently 3 years from delivery). Our warranty is additional and does not limit or replace your legal rights as a consumer.

What if I'm not sure whether my issue is covered? Write to us. We evaluate each case individually and always look for the best solution. If the issue is not covered by the warranty but requires repair, we'll give you a quote before doing anything.
